Onto my projects!!!

First up is my All You Need is Love projects - I designed a set of 4 notecards!  They  were 3.5x5 each.

How adorable are these images???

I used a variety of images from the Romantic Little Valentine's Sheet to create these cards!
I simply trimmed the images and embellished with my stash!  I just let creativity flow and tried to not overthink it.

I think this one was my fave!!!

My next project was an altered journal! For this one, I used images from the

I seriously couldn't decide on a photo!  Hahah - so here they all are!

I printed the images and then fussy cut the owl. I also trimmed out the wing and added some Sparkling Snow glitter for effect. I thought the bow was a fun addition to the winter goddess too.  I loved the sentiment on this image!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be playing along this month with the challenges!!!

I hope you will check out all the amazing products Gecko Galz has to offer!!  I will also have a Tag post coming up today too! Enjoy and I'll see you soon!

Gecko Galz - 25 Tags of Christmas

Hello again!

I'm up today with my Tag Creations for Gecko Galz!!

I created two tags for you today.......and I had so much fun creating them!

Like how cute is this little deer?  The products I used are from:
- Christmas Spirit

I distressed the edges with brown ink and created a poinsettia die cut. Some gold paste was added for shimmer (what is Christmas without a little shine right?).

Next up:

So for this one I used background paper from Christmas Spirit.

The deer paper is from Compliments of the Season Junk Journal set and the sentiments were from Christmas Spirit. Once again I added clear embossing powder to make it look like the words were actual labels. I also added a white shimmer spray over the whole tag to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to share more Gecko Galz projects with you! Be sure to head over to the Gecko Galz blog to grab the freebie of the day.

Merry Christmas everyone!

xoxo

Creative Knockouts Challenge #457

Happy Thursday friends!

I’m super happy to announce that I only have two more chemotherapy appointments left! Horray! There’s still a long road to go, but I’ll be happy to have this part done! Onward and upward!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts. For Challenge #457, our theme is Use Two or More Patterned Papers!

Our wonderful sponsor is KLM Designs. Their stamps are just adorable! I used the Digital Stamp called Christmas Light Gnome.

I printed off the digi and coloured with alcohol markers - still not my fave thing to do but I’m trying! Lol

The pattern papers are from Prima. I figure I could use this challenge to get a head start on Christmas cards! Hehe

Here is what I created in more detail:

Thanks for stopping by! Your comments mean a lot to me :)

Hugs!

Jess

Creative Knockouts Challenge #443 with Dr. Digi's House of Stamps - Birthday Wishes

Happy Thursday friends!

Has it warmed up in your neck of the woods yet? March can be so fickle! Good thing there is crafting to occupy the time when the weather doesn't agree. haha

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts. For Challenge #443, our theme is Birthday Wishes and our wonderful sponsor is Dr. Digi. I am working with a digi called called Grumpy Sentiments. I just fell in love with the funny greetings!  I even created 4 cards to share with you - that's how much I loved it!  This digi is a PDF Sheet - so it prints out in one go and you simply trim out the one you want!

Here is what I created:

I think this was my personal fave!

I kept these cards simple as well - created a background from some awesome masculine papers - then fussy cut out the sentiments after printing!  I'm sure you could handle that too - hehehe.

I hope to see you at the challenge. Challenges are a great way to bust out of a creative funk - or just to have fun and maybe win a prize or two!

Until next time,

Jess

Creative Knockouts Challenge #441 with KLM Designs

Happy Thursday friends!

I hope this post finds you happy and healthy. I'm still trucking along with my chemo - tomorrow I have treatment #3. I'm feeling great actually - strong and healthy still. I hope it continues this way. Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement - it means a lot to me.

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts. For Challenge #441, our theme is Anything Goes and our wonderful sponsor is KLM Designs.  I am working with a digi called "Chillin' At Home Gnome" - he's so cute!

Here is what I created:

I kept things super simple for this card. I colored up the sweet gnome using Tonic Studios Nuvo Alcohol Markers. I printed the sentiment onto a white card base, fussy cut out the image and added some dimensional foam squares to prop it up.  Super cute!

I hope to see you at the challenge. Challenges are a great way to bust out of a creative funk - or just to have fun and maybe win a prize or two!

Until next time,

Creative Knockouts Challenge #333

Hello crafty friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts Challenge!  Our theme this week is "In Stitches" and our sponsor is the amazing "The Artsy Stamper".  I chose to work with a stamp set called "Morning Glories".

Here is what I created:

For the "in stitches" part, I used a faux stitching technique with a thin black marker. It's really easy to do and I love the final effect.  You could also use a stitched die, embossing folder or even actual sewing. Have fun with it. I used Tonic Nuvo Alcohol Markers to color up this sweet digi.  I have stamped a quick "thank you " on the inside as I think this makes a perfect Thank You Card!

I have entered this card also at the Artsystamper Digitals Challenge #8.

I hope to see you at the challenge! :)

Until next time,

Jess

Here is what I created:

I colored the image using a combo of Nuvo Marker Pens and ShinHan TwinTouch Markers.  A quick wrap of twin and a simple sentiment was all this image needed. I hope you like it!

I hope to see you at the challenge! Good luck!

Jess

Hello friends!

Happy Tuesday and Welcome September!  Where did the summer go?

Here it is!  Part 4 - the grand finale of my Mermaid Series for the Artystamper design team. I hope I have given you many ideas to use your Mermaid Wishes Digital Stamp Set .

Here is handmade card #4:

Thanks for stopping by and following my Mermaid Series!  What stamp set will I use for my next series of cards? You will have to come back in 2 weeks to find out!!

Artsystamper Mermaid Series - Part 3

Hello friends!

Happy Tuesday!

I know you are excited for Part 3 in my Mermaid Series for the Artystamper design team.  Have you picked up your  Mermaid Wishes stamp set yet?

Here is handmade card #3:

I just adore pre-colored digital images. I'm not the best coloring artist, so when I can just print and go, I am in love!!!  You can see the tail peek out from under the die cut circle - it actually pops up when laying flat!  How about that cute little anchor paper clip? Too cute!  And of course...I can forget the Nuvo drops to decorate.

I hope you will check out the shop to grab this beautiful set. I look forward to sharing the Grand Finale Part 4 in two weeks!

See you soon!
