I chose to work with a stamp set called "That's Amore" - so so cute!

Here is what I created:

I printed off the background and stamp image separately, and fussy cut out the cute image. A bit of distressing ink around the edges finished off the vintage vibes.  I love how sweet this card turned out! It's approx 4.5x4.5 in size too!

Creative Knockouts #483 - 'Tis the Season

Wowsers!  How is Christmas only 10 days away?  Is it just me, or are you also ready to move on from Holiday Cards and bring on allll the Valentines? hehe  I can't wait!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts Challenge #483. 

Our theme this week is "Anything Goes” and our sponsor is the amazing “The Paper Shelter”. What I love about them is that their images can be downloaded and used immediately - no coloring required!  Perfect for quick cards.

Creative Knockouts Challenge #285

Hello crafty friends!

I hope you are having a beautiful Valentine's Day!  We didn't do much - just some treats for the kids and cupcakes at work!! I don't think you need to only celebrate love one day a year....so we try to do little things for each other all year long.  How do you celebrate your loved ones?

It's time for a new challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme this week is very fitting - "Love is In the Air". Our sponsor is the always amazing "The Paper Shelter". I love their digis so much - especially when you get beautifully colored images! It's my go to "cheat sheet" when I need to make quick handmade cards and don't have time to color!  The digi we used is called "Jurassic Love" - too cute!

Kitty Bee Designs - Challenge #120

Hello friends!

I hope the weather is treating you awesome - it's been so nice here, I hope that doesn't mean we are having summer now! haha  Anyways, onto this week's Kitty Bee/Aloha Friday Challenge #120!

This week we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter.  I worked with the Physical and Spiritual Strength Digi - too cute! Since our theme was "Masculine" handmade cards, I thought it worked perfectly! I didn't stop at one card, I actually made two! lol  The first handmade card features the karate kid on an "action wobbler" - so when you flick it, it moves! TOO cute!!!

  

For the second handmade card, I used part of the background scene along with the Karate kid.

Creative Knockouts Challenge #239

I printed off the DIGI image (soooo pretty) and added bits of glitter, flocking and Crystal Drop bubbles!!  So much fun!!!

Creative Corner Challenges - Girly Fun with The Paper Shelter

Hello friends!

I'm a bit late with posting, but I created 2 fabulous cards for our Girly Fun Challenge over at Creative Corner Challenges!  Our Sponsor was The Paper Shelter.  Their images are gorgeous and I LOVE that I can work with pre-colored digis! ;)

We were blessed to work with the Digi called "Mad About Shoes" and I made 2 cards.  The first is using a "cracked glass technique" and the second is a more shabby, vintage look.

To make the cracked glass/ice technique, I simply covered the image with Versamark Ink, sprinkled on Super Thick Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. I repeated the process one more time and then placed the image in the freezer for about 5 minutes.  After the 5 minutes, I removed the image from the freezer and went about cracking! :)  Super fun!

Creative Corner Challenges - Turquoise & Brown - Sponsored by The PaperShelter!

Hello friends!

This week over at Creative Corner Challenges we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter and our theme is Turquoise & Brown.

My entire craft space is packed up tight due to some renovations, so I was extremely limited to supplies to create this week.  I was so lucky that the Digi we were given by The Paper Shelter to use was super easy to print off and make the focal point of the card!   I love that I can just print the image on a background, add to some cardstock, add some embellishments and have a lovely card!

Here is what I created:

I added some Sparkle N Sprinkle Waterfall glitter (adhered with the Sakura Glue Pen) on the waves, sandals and hair ribbon.  This card ce together so nice and quick!
