Our theme in November is "Christmas Magic".

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from Gecko Galz!!

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  It is up to you!!

The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree!!

There is also a Facebook Challenge group for some other fun challenges - and you can find that HERE.

Onto my projects!!!

I of course went with primarily Christmas for this month's collection,

This cute Reindeer Ornament used the "Little Reindeers". I used a green string light from the dollar store to add some glow!  The wheat was handpicked from a local field and spray painted with gold paint. I love how it turned out! I fussy cut the deer to nestle them in the white "snow" that I fashioned out of some loose batting.

The greeting came from "Christmas Signs & Banners".

Next up, a sweet little gift box using the "Retro Christmas Collage Sheet".

Now, a set of 3 notecards featuring "Little Reindeers".

Lastly, I created a few gift tags!  I used images from "Christmas Scraps", "Little Reindeers" and "Christmas Signs & Banners".

I hope you enjoyed this month's collection and you will come along and play. Don't forget about all the free images on the blog and the gifts with purchase!

I hope you will check out all the amazing products Gecko Galz has to offer!!   Enjoy and I'll see you soon!

xoxo

Rinea Holiday Ornament

Hello crafty friends!

I have a brand new project to share with you today for Rinea!  As you can see, we are making this beautiful holiday ornament today!  Or you could use it was a bow for a present! Or...you could make it bigger and turn it into a wreath or wall decor!  The ideas are endless.  First up, here are the supplies you will need:
Jolly Foiled  Paper Variety Pack  - I used the Starstruck in Ruby, Silver and Emerald along with the Gloss in Silver/Gold and Ruby/Gold for this project.
Hot Glue Gun
Paper Trimmer
1 3/4" Punch (or die if you prefer)

Here is my video tutorial to show you how to make it:

Check out the blue version I created too using the Frosted Variety Pack:

Thanks for tuning in!  See you again next time!

Ribbon Candy Ornaments

Hello friends!  Happy December!!! I'm so excited to present my first Rinea project for the month - Ribbon Candy Ornaments!!

I loved ribbon candy as a child! I have many memories of going to my grandma's house and sneaking the ribbon candy. I have recently found it at a local store, so I am excite to share my love with my children!  I loved the idea of making ribbon candy ornaments to bring happy memories to my holiday tree!
They are really simple to make too - all you need is some Rinea Foiled Paper in your fave color (I used my fave - Jade Glossy Foiled Paper and the Jade Starstruck Foiled Paper), hat pins and pretty beads!!

I cut my strips into 1.5" and 2.0" pieces (I did use the 6x12" Crafters Pack for these). All you have to do is push your pin through one end, add a bead, and fold it back over again....repeating until you are out of paper!! I added a stopper bead at the bottom of the hat pin and some thin wire to hang them!

Look at all the different sizes and shapes I made!  There were a couple that I did two strips and alternated the the pieces. So much fun!
So now you have a fun snowy day project to do with your kids!  Plan some snowy day fun with Rinea Foiled Papers!!
See you again soon!
