Puppy Girl with SparkleNSprinkle

Hello friends!

I'm here today with a new card I created for SparkleNSprinkle. I grabbed my "Puppy Girl" stamp and went to work!

Supply List

Step 1: Make your Background!
I used a piece of Sticker Paper to create my background!  I took my Dreamweaver Stencil and rubbed the Hawaiian Soap over the back in order to prevent the stencil from sticking to the adhesive on the sticker paper and makes it easy to remove!  I placed the sicker paper onto the soaped up side of the sticker paper and rubbed lightly to make it stick. Then, I took my Golden Wheat, Dogwood Rose and Denim Glitters and sprinkled randomly over the exposed adhesive.  I used my finger tool to burnish the glitter in.  I gently peeled off the sticker paper from the stencil and then sprinkled on Waterfall glitter, burnishing well.  This fills in all the gaps that the stencil covered!  Isn't it pretty?

Step 2: Create your Image!
I started by taking a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and stamping the Puppy Girl using Versafine Ink (I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new ink pad!).  I took my aquapainter and used some of the Nuance HOT PINK watercoolor powder to give it a bright pink wash over the entire image.  I tried to be very random - not a precise watercolor job!
Once my watercoloring was dry (you can use your heat tool to speed up the process), I trimmed the image down to the size I wanted. I used my Nuvo Fine Glue Pen to add some accent glitters.  I love how precise you can be with this pen.  I used the same 3 glitters (Dogwood Rose, Denim and Golden Wheat).

Step 3: Put it together and final touches
I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and sprinkled on some of the Antiquities Embossing Powder, heat setting.  I cut the sentiment apart to better fit the card.  I popped them up on Foam Squares (along with my image).  I made a fun Glitter Ribbon using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape and the Denim Glitter. It's a super simple technique!  Simple take a piece of your Tear-ific Tape and apply your glitter to both sides.  I rolled it into a ribbon and tied it around the base.  All layers were adhered using 1/2"Tear-ific Tape.  I finished off with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Crushed Grape.

I hope you enjoy this creation and can't wait to show you my next card!
Until next time,
