SparkleNSprinkle - Paisley Elephant

Hello friends! :)

It's time for another SparkleNSprinkle New Release card!!  For this card, I used the brand new release stamp set called "Amazing You - Paisley Elephant".

Here is my supply list:

SNS Supplies

Honestly...this card came together very easily! I wasn't sure at first how I wanted to use this stamp...but once I started working with it, the creativity flowed!

The main elephant image was stamped using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, Versamark Ink and embossed with Copper Kettle Embossing Powder. I fussy cut the image out and went to work on the background. I used the Static Free Bag (which prevents flyaway embossing powder) on the cardstock and then stamped the elephant with Versamark Ink and embossed with Clear Detail Embossing Powder. I used an emboss resist style technique and applied the Pacific Teal Embellishment Mousse. I love how the Clear Detail left a "shadow" type background!  Gorgeous!

I applied 1/2" Tear-ific Tape around the outside edge of my card base and applied the Blue Raven Glitter.

Next, I went to work on my flowers! I stamped the elephant image 3 times with a dark blue ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Using a flower punch, I punched out a bunch of flower shapes and shaped them using my Tonic Studios Floral Crafters!

Next came assembly!  All layers were attached with Tear-ific Tape :)  Final touches of Glitter Accents in Silver Jubilee and Crystal Drops in Raspberry Pink were added to finish off the card along with some bakers twine.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and embossed with Marbled Blue embossing powder. I also added a hint of the Lemon Sorbet Embellishment Mousse around the outside edges of the background.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Have fun with the new stamp sets!  Don't forget to leave a comment both HERE on my blog AND on the main SNS BLOG to be entered to win! :)

See ya next time! :)

SparkleNSprinkle - Irish Blessings #2

Hello friends!

I have another new creation for SparkleNSprinkle today featuring the Irish Blessings stamp set!  This one has a fun, angled fold!

Supply List:

STEP 1: Print off the Digital Paper!
Isn't this gorgeous paper?  I chose to work with the green splattered background and printed off a couple sheets to work with (how cool is that?)

STEP 2: Make your fun folds!

I chose to do a Diagonal Gate Fold for this card.
My cardstock piece measured 5.5" by 8.25".  I used my scoring tool to make score lines at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". After folding them in, I made score lines to the outside pieces on the diagonal (I should have made a quick video - idea for next time!). It's actually quite simple.

Step 3: Your Accents
I took a coordinating green cardstock and ran it through an embossing folder to create texture.  Next, I took my Mother of Pearl Embellishment Mousse to accent the embossed texture.

I stamped the adorable clover hat image onto white cardstock with Versamark Ink and Embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder.  I colored in the image using ShinHan Twin Touch Markers.  I added Aztec Gold Glitter to the buckle of the hat using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen.  I used a scalloped die to cut out the image and a background piece.  I used the Mother of Pearl Embellishment Mousse to accent the outside edges of the image.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder, then fussy cut out.

After I cut down the printed Digital Paper to fit my panels, I stamped the clovers randomly around using Versamark Ink and embossed with Silver Pearl Embossing Powder! It gave such a nice, subtle background!  I also added a sentiment to the inside panel using the Versamark Ink and Black Detail Embossing Powder.

STEP 4: Adhere your layers!

All of the panels were adhered using 1/4" Tear-ific Tape (love, love love this stuff!)  Some green ribbon from my stash was added for some extra touches.

I hope you enjoy this card!  I had a lot of fun making it.  Don't forget to check out all the other amazing items in the SparkleNSprinkle shop!

Until next time,

Jess

I fell in love with the Bonnet Bouquet Stamp Set and couldn't wait to try it out!

Supply List:

I decided I really wanted to do the Cracked Glass technique with this card!

First, I started by printing off the Digital version of the image (digi version - DIGI838J).  I trimmed it to the size I wanted to use and then covered the entire image with Veramark Ink.  I sprinkled on the Super Thick Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.  I repeated the steps 2 more times to make a very thick, glossy layer of embossing powder.  I placed the image in the freezer for about 5 minutes and then came the FUN!  CRACKING!  I gently cracked the frozen piece of paper until I got the amount of cracks I wanted.  How fun and easy!

I made the background by stamping the sentiment over and over.  Then I applied some Aquamarine Embellishment Mousse to distress it.

I stamped the main sentiment using Vesamark Ink and embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder. All the layers were adhered with 1/4" Tear-ific Tape and I finished it off with some Sunlit Meadow Glitter Drops & Bright Metallic Gold Crystal Drops.

The next stop on our blog hop is the amazingly talented Eret and you can find her blog HERE.

I hope you enjoyed my card and our new release!  Sometimes the simplest of techniques can make amazing cards!

Until next time,

Jess

SparkleNSprinkle - Donna's Stylin' Sayings

Hello friends!

I just fell in LOVE with this stamp set from SparkleNSprinkle this month - Donna's Stylin' Sayings!!!

I went to work and created this beautiful butterfly card and couldn't wait to share with you!

Supply list:

To begin my card, I took a piece of aqua blue cardstock and stamped the "swoosh" stamp multiple times in a line with Versamark Ink.  I sprinkled on the Beach Cruiser Embossing Powder and heat set, creating the "waterfall" effect in the background.  I think applied 2 rows of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape across the top of the panel, removed the backing to expose the adhesive and applied Peach Bellini Glitter, Burnishing in well.

I stamped the Sentiment using Versamark and added Black Detail Embossing Powder to make it stand out.  Next, I stamped the "splatter" stamp using Versamark and sprinkled on the Super Thick Silver Embossing powder.  When I heat set it, some got attached to the sentiment, giving it a super cool effect!

To finish off the card, I created these fun butterflies!  I took a strip of 2.5" Tear-ific Tape and added it to some white cardstock.  I used a butterfly Sizzlet from Sizzix and ran it through my Big Shot.  Once the butterlies were cut, I removed the protective backing & I added Peach Bellini Glitter to some of them, Peacock Embossing Powder to the others.  I attached  them to the card using Glue Dots.  As a final touch, I added some dimension using the Nuvo Crystal Drops!

I hope you enjoy this card! Now, go out a create something beautiful!
