Heir of God Bible Journaling with Joy Clair

Hello friends!

I have a bible journal page to share with you featuring a new release stamp set from Joy Clair called "Heir of God". This is really a versatile set, as the castle can totally be used in non-Color By Faith situations too (I thought of a princess castle as soon as I saw it!). 

I decided to do a simple bible Journal page with it. I started by turning by bible to Romans and started reading the word. Then I just let the creativity flow from there!  I grabbed some really old Stampin' Up! Pastels and played with them - it felt good to dive into an older stash of supplies!

  

Once I had things stamped and colored, I wanted to add texture - and there is nothing better than...texture paste and stencils!

 

I sprinkled on some Nuvo Shimmer Powders for more shimmer and shine - and it almost ended up looking like mountains or rocks beside my castle! Love it!  I also added some sparkly gems to my crown. 

 

 

I hope you will take some time to read your bible today and add a little extra to it!  I find that by having a bible for journaling, the passages really stick with me and it sinks in just a little deeper - and who doesn't love that?

Rise and Shine Bible Journal Page with Joy Clair

Hello beautiful friends!

Blossom with Joy Clair Stamps

Hello friends!

I hope you are having a fabulous week! I have some new cards to share with you today for Joy Clair Stamps!  I loved the  "Blossom" Stamp Set so much! I have been looking forward to adding a cactus stamp set to my collection, and when I saw this one I just knew it was perfect! For the first card, I added in some cute little sentiments from the  "Going Places" Stamp Set.  They seemed to work perfectly together - and doesn't it look like the cacti are speaking the encouragements? Too cute!!!

I used watercolor paper to stamp the images on and then used Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens to watercolor them. 

For my second card, I used the same cacti stamps on watercolor paper again, but this time the sentiment was stamped onto vellum with Staz-on Ink. I still used the Nuvo Watercolor pens to colour the images. 

I hope you enjoy these cards!  You are just going to love the Joy Clair stamps. As you can see, they work very well together - you can mix and match the sets perfectly!!!  I love to add supplies to my collection that work well together, don't you?

God's Promises Bible Journal Page with Joy Clair

Hello friends!

Today I have something a bit different to share with you. I have played around with Bible Journaling in the past - I just haven't been brave enough to share it with you!  Well, that changes today as I am sharing a page I created using a stamp set called "God's Promises" by Joy Clair Stamps! I hope you like it.

I started by turning to Genesis in my journaling bible and read over the verses.  Then, after some quiet contemplation, I started stamping.

  

I really love how the clouds turned out!  I used some pearlescent watercolors to add a wash of colour to the page. I wanted the rainbow to be a bit brighter, so I used some glitter markers.

 

Here is the final page in it's entirety!




As I finished the page, I realized I had some inspiration to make a card too!  Bright sunshine and an uplifting sentiment. Perfect!
