SparkleNSprinkle - Paisley Elephant

Hello friends! :)

It's time for another SparkleNSprinkle New Release card!!  For this card, I used the brand new release stamp set called "Amazing You - Paisley Elephant".

Here is my supply list:

Honestly...this card came together very easily! I wasn't sure at first how I wanted to use this stamp...but once I started working with it, the creativity flowed!

The main elephant image was stamped using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, Versamark Ink and embossed with Copper Kettle Embossing Powder. I fussy cut the image out and went to work on the background. I used the Static Free Bag (which prevents flyaway embossing powder) on the cardstock and then stamped the elephant with Versamark Ink and embossed with Clear Detail Embossing Powder. I used an emboss resist style technique and applied the Pacific Teal Embellishment Mousse. I love how the Clear Detail left a "shadow" type background!  Gorgeous!

I applied 1/2" Tear-ific Tape around the outside edge of my card base and applied the Blue Raven Glitter.

Next, I went to work on my flowers! I stamped the elephant image 3 times with a dark blue ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Using a flower punch, I punched out a bunch of flower shapes and shaped them using my Tonic Studios Floral Crafters!

Next came assembly!  All layers were attached with Tear-ific Tape :)  Final touches of Glitter Accents in Silver Jubilee and Crystal Drops in Raspberry Pink were added to finish off the card along with some bakers twine.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and embossed with Marbled Blue embossing powder. I also added a hint of the Lemon Sorbet Embellishment Mousse around the outside edges of the background.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Have fun with the new stamp sets!  Don't forget to leave a comment both HERE on my blog AND on the main SNS BLOG to be entered to win! :)

See ya next time! :)
