Lucky Charm St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop

Happy March 1!!!

We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day early at Joy Clair Stamps - with a stamp showcase featuring the Lucky Charm Stamp Set! How cute is this???  I love that it has multiple sentiments on it to make it useful all year round!!

SparkleNSprinkle - Irish Blessings #1

Hello friends!

I have a super fun "lucky" card to share with you today for SparkleNSprinkle!  I created this card using the Irish Blessings Stamp Set!

I started by stamping my main horseshoe image using Versamark Ink and embossing with Black Detail Embossing Powder (my go-to powder for outlining!).  I colored in the image using ShinHan TwinTouch Markers.  Using the Versamark, I stamped some of the clovers around the image and embossed with Palm Green Embossing Powder. I took a second piece of white cardstock and inked up the entire panel with the Versamark Ink Pad (just tapping it around randomly).  Then, I sprinkled on the Palm Green Embossing Powder and heat set - creating a really cool background.

Next, I set to work on my flowers!  I took a piece of 2.5" Tear-ific Tape and applied it to a piece of white cardstock. I punched out my shapes and then simply peeled off the adhesive backing and applied my Luau Green Glitter (burnishing well!).  So quick and easy!

 

I used the Mini Blender Brush  to apply Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse to all the edges of my paper pieces.  I stamped the Good Luck sentiment in with Versamark Ink and embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder.  I followed the same stamping pattern with the clovers around the sentiment, and rubbed on some of the Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse to further accent the pieces. 

 

All the layers were adhered with 1/4" Tear-ific Tape. To add that finishing touch, Bright Metallic Gold Enamel Drops were added to accent the horseshoes and corners.

I just love this image!  She's totally adorable! I stamped the image using Versafine Ink and then watercolored. A bit of Velvet Rose Gold Gglitter was added to her hair and the shamrocks using the Small Glue Pen. I cut a the image out using the Cockle Shell Die from Tonic Studio and stamped a few shamrocks using Versamark ink.  The shamrocks were embossed with Palm Green Embossing Powder. The background was cut using the ZigZag & Floral Motif Tonic Die and all the layers were adhered with 1/4" Tear-ific Tape. To finish off the card, I added a few accents of the Sunlit Meadow Glitter Drops and some ribbon.  The sentiment was stamped using Versafine Ink.

Scrapbook Layout #1

I printed my Digital Stamp onto white cardstock and fussy cut out. I added some Elephant Gray Flocking (what else!) to his feet and other areas using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen to adhere! :)  Irish Spring Embossing Powder was added to the clovers. 

I created a distressed look on my base paper by using the Tonic Studios Brushes to apply Gold Embellishment Mousse!  I just love this stuff!

  

I cut out a piece of Sticker Paper and applied Elegant Emerald Glitter & Golden Wheat Glitter to make a really neat background piece.  Using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen, I created an adhesive "ring" around my round piece of cardstock and applied the Sunkissed Copper Gilding Flakes to make a border. P.S. Don't have your furnace on when you apply these! LOL Don't ask me why ;)

 

Golden Wheat Micofine Glitter was applied to my large outer chipboard ring (I used the Large Nuvo Glue Pen to create the sticky base!) and I used Irish Spring Embossing Powder on the inner ring (again, using the Large Glue Pen - and I did 2 layers to make sure I had full coverage).

I embossed a piece of white cardstock using a heart embossing folder and rubbed on some of the Gold Embellishment Mousse for extra texture.  Spring Green Embellishment Mousse was rubbed onto the saying, Golden Wheat Glitter on the pot of gold, Fire Engine Red Glitter on the heart and more Spring Green Embossing Powder on the clover. I love that you can add accents anywhere with a simple Glue Pen! :) 

All of my layers were adhered with 1/4" Tear-ific Tape and the Chipboard elements were adhered Brushable Glue.  To add some finishing touches, Crystal Drops in Apple Green were added between the chipboard circles and the journal box.
