Hello friends!

I just LOVED all the new releases this month so it was hard to choose my Reveal Project! After much deliberation,  I chose the Honey Bees {775} Stamp set!

To start the base of this card, I grabbed my honeycomb embossing folder and inked it up with Versamark {VM-001} and placed my yellow cardstock in.  Then I ran it through my my Big Shot to emboss and ink at the same time.  I took my Gold Detail Embossing Powder {EP168} , sprinkled it over the embossed cardstock and heat set for a fun background.  While I was at it, I made a few different backgrounds, inking both sides of the folder and using some White Detail Embossing Powder {EP298} as well. Now I'm prepped for more projects :)

As you can see, I was also playing with the Honey Bees stamps and the Gold Detail Embossing Powder {EP168} to makes some fun backgrounds!  Next, I went to work coloring my image and sentiments!  I stamped the hive image with Memento Black {ME-900} ink and colored with my Twin Touch markers. I added an extra "bee" from the stamps using Versamark and Black Detail Embossing Powder {EP171}. To finish off the panel, I stamped the Honeycomb stamp across the top with Versamark and sprinkled on Fleur De Lis Enamel Embossing Powder {EP465}  (heat setting of course!)  I also did the same to make the sentiment (Versamark + Fleur de Lis).  I used my corner rounder on all my panels (except the sentiment, which I just trimmed into a banner).  All of my layers were adhered using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape {SAT04}

I'm just loving the Color Coordinates Pinecone Cardstock {98121} brown to mat my layers. I accented the card with Tan Mon Ami Gabby 1/8" Pull Ribbon {MONR06} (another personal fave).  Before I attached all the layers, I added a strip of Dark Brown Triple Gold 1.5" Mon Ami Gabby Pull Ribbon {MONR33} across the background using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape {SAT04}. I popped the sentiment and image panel up using Foam Squares {01615}

Finally, to finish the inside, I layered my yellow cardstock on a piece of the Pinecone Cardstock.  I stamped the honeycomb and bee image in the corner with Versamark and used Black Detail Embossing Powder.

I think this is such a fun set, don't you? The next stop on our blog hop is Eret and you can find her blog here.

Good luck!
Until next time,
Jess
