Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #123

Hello everyone!

I'm back again this week with another fun creation over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Here was our sketch:

Here is what I came up with:

I used the brand new "Nevermore" paper pack from Close to My Heart!  I wanted to show how you can use it for things other than Halloween.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #122

Hello again!

I'm back with another great Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge post!

I made a fun glitter ribbon using Tear-Ific Tape and Purple glitter :) Isn't it fun?

Creative Corner Challenges - Stitchybear Sponsored!

 I chose to work with the image called "Want to Play". It was created by BB Kakes.  I thought the little girl was simply adorable!

Here is what I created:

As most of my friends know, coloring Digi images is NOT my fave technique, but I gave it a shot!  I used Clear Detail embossing powder on the water, water droplets and sunglasses to give them a water/glass effect!  I also went for the shabby look and used Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon. 

The embellishments came from a past Simon Says Stamp kit and the Stamp set is called "Sailing".

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #121

Hello friends!

Sorry I was absent for the last couple AHSC weeks!  My craft space was getting new flooring (yeah!) so everything was packed up!  We also squeezed in a family camping trip and had a wonderful time!

As soon as I saw it I knew what technique I wanted to use!  Demo Donna over at SparkleNSprinkle created a "cake mix" kit a few weeks ago and I knew it would work perfectly with this sketch!  I used the Cathedral Stencil by Dreamweavers and sticker paper to make the sparkly paper pattern. I used Luau Green, Dogwood Rose and Sparkling Snow Glitters.  Isn't it pretty?  You can find the Video Technique here:

Creative Corner Challenges - Turquoise & Brown - Sponsored by The PaperShelter!

Hello friends!

This week over at Creative Corner Challenges we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter and our theme is Turquoise & Brown.

My entire craft space is packed up tight due to some renovations, so I was extremely limited to supplies to create this week.  I was so lucky that the Digi we were given by The Paper Shelter to use was super easy to print off and make the focal point of the card!   I love that I can just print the image on a background, add to some cardstock, add some embellishments and have a lovely card!

Here is what I created:

I added some Sparkle N Sprinkle Waterfall glitter (adhered with the Sakura Glue Pen) on the waves, sandals and hair ribbon.  This card ce together so nice and quick!
