Creative Corner Challenges - Happy New Year with StitchyBear!

Hello all!

Well, well, well - here we are at our LAST Team Jess Creative Corner Challenge of 2015!  WOW!

This week we chose the theme of "Happy New Year" and we are sponsored by the always fun StitchyBear Digi Stamps!

I chose a super fun party image to work with, called "Happy New Year", which was created by StitchyStamps.

Now, bear with me as my coloring skills are still a work in progress, but here is what I created:

Creative Corner Challenges - Stitchybear Sponsored!

Hello friends!

This week over at Creative Corner Challenges, we are sponsored by StitchyBear! 

 I chose to work with the image called "Want to Play". It was created by BB Kakes.  I thought the little girl was simply adorable!

Here is what I created:

As most of my friends know, coloring Digi images is NOT my fave technique, but I gave it a shot!  I used Clear Detail embossing powder on the water, water droplets and sunglasses to give them a water/glass effect!  I also went for the shabby look and used Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon. 

The embellishments came from a past Simon Says Stamp kit and the Stamp set is called "Sailing".

Creative Corner Challenges - Animal Fun

Hello!

This week Team Jess had the privilege of working with StitchyBear Digi Outlet as our Sponsor!  I chose a cute little image called "Book and Tea" by DigiBlessings.

Here is my creation:

I coloured my digi stamp with Watercolor pencils and accented the little mouse with SparkleNSprinkle flocking in Elepahnt Gray.  He is so soft now!!  I also added a bit of purple embossing powder to the tea bag label.  Embellishment and paper were from my stash.
