Gecko Galz - February 2025

Welcome February!

WHEW!  Didn't January seem to take FOREVER this year?  I finally have access to my blog again (horray!!) so I'm excited to be here today to share with you.

PLUS - it's my BIRTHDAY today!!  After my breast cancer, you truly appreciate every birthday you get to celebrate - so CHEERS TO ME and another trip around the sun.

I have some new inspiration to share with you, but up first, a little information about Gecko Galz!

There are a ton of Challenges for you to participate in and you can even grab FREE products from the blog to get you going! You can find the Challenge Blog HERE.

Our theme in November is "Guts, Glitz & Lipstick".

How cute!

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from Gecko Galz!!

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  It is up to you!!

The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree!!

There is also a Facebook Challenge group for some other fun challenges - and you can find that HERE.

Onto my projects!!!

Of course I had to use the "Glam on the Range" Digital Collage Sheet
& "East Meets West" Digital Tin Toppers to create my projects.

As soon as I saw the Tin Toppers my mind went to a retro TV set. (Especially given the theme I was in the wild west mentality!). I saw a few cut files, but I just really wanted to create my own with scissors, punches and of course, my digi sheets!  I rounded the corners of my card and then set to building the "tv" - dials, rabbit ears and legs. I just fussy cut or punched out circles/shapes. I think it turned out sooo cute!

I created two 5X7 Cards using the "Gitty Up" Paper Pack for the backgrounds.

I just fussy cut images for this cute card (I think it's my current fave).

The card sentiments came from the "Happy Birthday" Sentiments set - this is a hand one to print off and just keep in your stash!!!

Finally, I finished with yet another bookmark (I think I will make one each month this year!). You could also use this as a tag.

AND one more A2 card for good measure :D

I hope you enjoyed this month's collection and you will come along and play. Don't forget about all the free images on the blog and the gifts with purchase!

I hope you will check out all the amazing products Gecko Galz has to offer!!   Enjoy and I'll see you soon!

xoxo

Artsystamper - Fruit Stand Bookmark Gift Card

Hello friends!

Happy Tuesday!

I'm sad to say that this will be my last post as part of the Artystamper design team. HOWEVER, it will definitely not be the last time you will see me using these beautiful stamps!

Here is handmade card  for this week:

For this card, I started off by printing the Tall Tags in a 5x7 form and trimming out. I added some cute ribbon/lace accents to create mini bookmarks!

To make the card portion, I used the orange/white background paper from the Fruit Stand Paper Pack and printed it off. I used it to make the background and then created a small pocket on the front to hold the bookmarks!

I had printed out two copies of the Tall Tags - and needed and sentiment for the card - so I fussy cut out the basket of oranges along with the "sign" part and adhered with some 3D foam tape. A tiny bit of Lemonade glitter was added to the oranges for sparkle.  I think this would be a cute card to gift to a teacher or your favorite librarian, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by!
