I just fell in LOVE with the Fishing Stamp sets this month! Aren't they fun? I chose to work with the Just Go Fishing (digi version DIGI779). I printed off the images first and then fussy cut the words. I used my Sakura Glue Pen {quicky} to trace the letters,, sprinkled on Silver Embossing Powder {EP179) and heat set. I also used the Glue Pen and Silver Embossing Powder {EP179} to accent my image layers. I love how versatile the Glue Pen is for accenting creations - so quick and easy to use! You definitely need one (or two!) in your collection.

To make my background, I inked up my chevron embossing folder with Versamark {VM-001}. I placed my piece of cardstock into the folder and ran it through my Big Shot. I carefully removed the cardstock and sprinkled on Poolside Embossing Powder {EP393} to the side where the Versamark transferred. I tapped off the excess, then heat set, creating the fun background!

I die cut out the image and a background layer and adhered with 1/8" Tearific Tape {SAT02}. I used Foam Squares {01615} to pop up the image and adhere to the background. I also adhered the fussy cut words to the background using Tear-ific Tape {SAT02} and adhered the background to my cardbase. I finished off the card by using Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss Ebony Black {650N} to accent the corners and draw some black chevrons.

The next (and final) stop on our hop is the super talented Eret and you can find her blog here. Make sure to comment on the entire hop for your chance to win ALL the new releases!

Until next time,

Jess
