Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #41

Good day!  I am officially back for my second term as a design team member!  I am super excited to be back and can't wait to see what sketches are waiting for us!!

Here was this week's sketch:

 

Here is what I came up with:

I used some random items from my embellishment stash and a little distressing to give this a roughed up look.  I still need to keep my "shabby" cards clean - if that makes any sense! :)

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #39

Hello!!

This week was BUSY!  I just completed an order of 300 custom made wedding invitations and reply cards. I also received a TON of new stamps in the mail and my preview order from the new 2014 Close to My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book!

Some other exciting news - I am now a Dealer/Designer for Envelopments.  This is big as it allows me to expand my wedding and special occasions projects with some amazing paper products!  More on that in another posting. Now onto this week'a sketch!

Here is what we were given for Sketch 39:

This was the perfect sketch to play with one of my new favorite paperpacks from the new catalogue, "Timberline" and a cute new stamp set called "Crazy Camper".

Here is my creation:

It's such a cute stamp set and will be available for purchase on February 1 (along with all the other fabulous new products!).

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #37

Happy New Year!

Here we are in 2014!!  I am so excited to be staying on with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for a second term.  This weeks sketch screamed out to me as a clean and simple card.  It actually only took me 5 minutes!  Here was our sketch:

Supplies used:

Cardstock - Stampin' Up! Primrose Petals, Daffodil Delight

Patterned Paper - K&Company Sleepy Tree Designer Paper pad

Ink - Close to My Heart Barn Red

Stamp - Valentine Defined by Stampin' Up!

Embellishments - BasicGrey Candy Buttons

I had a lot of fun working with bright spring colors!  It was such a nice change and I am looking forward to a great year of creating!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #36

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and all the best in 2014!  

This week's sketch was a blast to work with.  I am definitely ready to start creating projects other than Christmas cards!  Here was this week's sketch:

 Again, I am back to my favorite October Afternoon products!  I chose to work with the Midway collection and added in some Sahara Sand and Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock from Stampin' Up!.  The Kraft card base is from Close to My Heart.  The "Happy Birthday " sentiment is also from Stampin' Up! (Teeny Tiny Wishes - one of my all time favorite stampsets).  I hope you enjoy!
