September already! Wow!  It was "Back to School" in our house this morning.  Now my house is too quiet with just the little one here.  I guess that means more crafting time for mommy!  :)

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #18

Good day!!

Wow! 2 posts in the same 24 hour time frame!  I am on a roll!!  

This week our sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge looked like a lot of fun and really inspired me.  

It inspired me so much, I stepped out of my card comfort zone and came up with a 8x8 Layout!!!  I also dug into my collection of October Afternoon goodies.  I hope you enjoy!

For privacy reasons, I will add some more journaling later, but I think it turned out great!  Simple and fun!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #17

Hello!

Hope you are all enjoying our beautiful summer (that has FINALLY arrived in my neck of the woods!).

If you are wondering why I don't have a post for Sketch #16, the design team is split into 2 teams which post every other week (or every week if we are super organized!)  Once school starts in the fall, I hope to have a creation for every sketch to share.

Most of the supplies & inks are from Stampin' Up! Colors used were Pistachio Pudding, Sky  & Crisp Cantaloupe.

I hope you enjoy!  I was busy canning peaches yesterday, so I thought they made a lovely backdrop for this card! hahaha

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #15

Hello!

Just a quick post for you today as we are packing up to go camping.  Here is what I created for sketch #15 over at Atlantic Hearts.

I just grabbed scraps from my newly created scrap bin and put this card together in about 5 minutes!!
