Some "Flirty" Cards! :)

Happy week after Thanksgiving everyone! :)  I hope you all had your fill of turkey and all the trimmings.  My family and I enjoyed a quiet weekend with Chinese takeout instead of the traditional fare, but it was great all the same.  I even managed to squeeze in a little crafting time.

This time around I was playing with a paper pack from Close to My Heart called "Flirty".  Now, this wasn't my most favorite paper pack in the Fall/Winter 2012 catalogue. It was actually the last one on my list. However, I was bound and determined to make myself like it more.  After 6 full 12x12 scrapbook pages, I started on the cards from the Workshop on the Go (the cards were the Bonus Project).  I started with the layouts as provided, but changed up the paper, stamping and embellishments to make them my own.  Here is what I came up with:

All materials are from Close to My Heart with the exception of the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment in the third card (that one is from Stampin' Up!).  I am loving the little word bubble stamps that come with the Cricut® Artiste Collection Cartridge.  You can only get this collection through Close to My Heart Consultants like me!  Check out my website here:

After playing around with this paper packet, I have come to LOVE it! :)  In fact, I have almost used up all of the paper (I still have enough scraps to make a few more cards) and will probably order a second pack! :)  Not bad for being at the bottom of my list to begin with.  It just goes to show you that you can 't always judge a paper pack just by looking at it.  Sometimes you actually have to play around with it to realize it's true potential.

Have a great week everyone!  I am busy preparing for Craft Show season.  Hope to share some new projects with you as I get them completed.  Thanks for stopping by!
