Creative Knockouts Challenge #343 - Anything Goes

Hello crafty friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts Challenge #343. Our theme this week is "Anything Goes” and our sponsor is the amazing “Fabrika Fantasy". I actually decided to make two cards because I was having fun!  I'm using the "Fairy-Tale Unicorn" stamp this week. So classic! Everyone needs a cute unicorn stamp, right?

I used the image and resized it a bunch of times to create a background paper and then printed a full sized unicorn for the focal image! So cute!  I wanted fun and cheerful during this time of social distancing. It sure is a crazy world right now, isn't it?

Creative Knockouts Challenge #321

Hello crafty friends!

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts Challenge!!

Our theme this week is "Embossing Delights" and our sponsor is the always FABULOUS Fabrika Fantasy!   I chose to work with a stamp set called "Betta Fish Crowntail".  My daughters just picked out some Betta fish of their own so it was perfect timing :) Check out the stamp:






Here is what I created:

I did use the pre-colored digi version - but I superimposed it over the uncolored version with the bubbles!  I used a Versamark Pen to add my embossing powder to the bubbles and some to the fish itself.  I also used a dry embossing folder for the background. SO you can add Embossing with digis!!! :)  The sentiment was also heat embossed.

This card used Tonic Studios Mica Mist in Fresh Pear and Embellishment Mousse in Orange Blush.  The sentiment came from a SNS Stamp Set called "Cool Chicks #725".  I hope you enjoy!

Creative Knockouts - NEW Design Team!

Hello crafty friends!

I'm so excited to announce that I have joined the Creative Knockouts Design Team!  I look forward to sharing some super fun challenges with you for this super creative team. 

I'm jumping right in with Challenge #223 - Winter Wonderland sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy!

I was excited to work the the Little Snow Gnomes 2 Digital Stamp. It's so stinking adorable!

Here is what I created:

After I printed off the digi, I watercolored it using Tonic Aquaflow Pens (Red Apple, Fresh Green, Lemon Zest, Soft Rose, Rustic Oak and Spiced Ginger) and Pearlescent Watercolors. I used some papers from October Afternoon for my backgrounds and accented the hoods of the gnomes with SparkleNSprinkle Sparkling Snow Glitter.  Finally to add an essence of snow, I added Shaved Ice Glitter.
