Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #383

Hello friends!

This week I’m once agin playing with the Timber paper from Close to My Heart!  Here is a quick visual of the pack:

For this card I actually used contents from the Timber Picture My Life cards - they can be used in so many ways! I popped out a few star die cuts from matching Timber Die Cuts and popped them up with foam squares.

The sentiment came from the Aurora Cardmaking Set.

I've been playing along with the sketches from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for years now and every week I'm inspired to create!  This week my card is based on the following sketch:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #353

Hello crafty friends!

I have a Fun new card to share with you today? I’m making a conscious effort to use up past papers before I buy new all the time, so I’m using an older CTMH set for my card today! I believe it was called “Something Fierce “.  How cute is this?

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #259

Hello friends,

It's time for another sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! Here it is:

This sketch couldn't have been more perfect for this week. I thought this sketch over and over - and decided in light of the recent Humboldt Broncos Bus tragedy, to pay homage to my grieving home province, Saskatchewan.  It's a very simple card and I wish to express my deepest condolences to everyone affected by this unreal situation.

Here is what I created:

I hope you will come and play along with us.  Please keep the Humboldt Broncos organization, their friends, family and everyone affected in your prayers. Thanks for stopping by.

Close to My Heart Supply List:

I just loved this little Stargazer set and figured it was a perfect way to "BLAST OFF" into the new year! :)  I stamped the images onto white cardstock and simply watercolored the images. I added a bit of Glitter Marker accents to the images for some sparkle.

I used the Confetti Stars embossing folder to add some texture to the canary cardstock.

Guess where the pattern for this card came from? Our NEWEST how-to guide, Make it From Your Heart Volume 4!!!

Here is how I decorated the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope:
