Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #365

Hello friends!

I still have some SCT kits kicking around, so I’m going to play with those for the next couple posts! How cute is that caterpillar? Eek! And the strawberry paper I wanted to hoard like crazy. Totes adorable!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #357

Hello friends!

I've had a few SCT Samplers kicking around, so for the next few AHSC posts, you will see me using them up! If you don't know what the SCT Sampler is, you can check it out here. In a nutshell, it's a mini membership that gets you a "sample" pack of different craft supplies from various companies each month! I had a few of them piling up that I hadn't used, so I made myself put my membership on hold until I used them. How's that for self-blackmail? haha 

I don't know why it took me so long to use them! There are tons of cute papers and embellies! Plus, stamp sets and tools like embossing folders sometimes too. I believe I have made the next 6 Challenge cards from last summer's sampler .

Scrapy Land Challenge #97

Hello friends!

Welcome to Scrapy Land {Challenge #97}!  I'm very excited to share my project with you. It's clean, quick and simple!  Sometimes we just need projects like that to use up our stash and increase our card stash for quick use!

I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities die set to create this card, but you could use something like this Memory Box Stitched Scalloped Circles or the Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles.

  

The idea is circular layers then embellish with a ton of flowers! Hahah - easy enough, right?

Here is what I created:




I accented with lots and lots of bling - who doesn't love bling?

A bit about the challenge....

The theme is always ANYTHING GOES using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  In addition, we have TWO WINNERS for each challenge.  One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team.  Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash!  You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.  (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

Scrapy Land Challenge #90

Hello friends!

Welcome to Scrapy Land {Challenge #90}!  I'm very excited to share my project with you.

This was a very finicky little project - but it turned out sooo pretty! I didn't realize when I picked up these flower dies that the pieces would be sooo teeny tiny!  Seriously! It is a lot of work, but the end results are just too darn pretty - so the effort is worth it!  I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Susan's Garden - Mini Botanicals Rhododendron, Azalea, Primrose Die Set along with the sentiment from the set I used last time, Sue Wilson Designs Cosmopolitan Cocktail.

    

As you can see, each little petal, leaf and branch are separate, so there was a lot of fiddling around to make them work!  Isn't that 3D effect cool though?

Papercraft Business Challenge #6

Welcome to our May 2018 Papercraft Business Challenge!

Our theme is Anything Goes (w/option: Mother's Day - for an extra entry to win the prize).

I've sure been busy prepping Mother's Day Cards, so this was a perfect theme!

Here is what I created:

I was working with a paper pack from Echo Park simply called "Mom Mini Theme". I needed to prepare a bunch of mini cards for a local florist, so this was perfect for the challenge!
