Hello friends!
I have a fun card for SparkleNSprinkle to share with you today! It features the "Cattelya Friendship" stamp set.
Supply list:
Nuance Red - MNU015
Nuance Jade - MNU004
Spring Willow Embossing Powder - EP388
Foam Squares - 01613
This card was actually very easy to make, but the result is oh so elegant (at least I think!).
First, I started by stamping the main image from Cattelya Friendship around the edges of a piece of watercolor paper using Versamark Ink. I sprinkled on the Black Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. I used the Nuance Watercolors in Red & Jade to color the image. I set it aside to dry and set to work on the background.
I took a piece of green cardstock and applied 1/2" Tear-ific Tape to all the outside edges. After removing the protective backing, I sprinkled on the Spring Willow Embossing Powder and heat set. So easy!
After the watercoloring was dry, I added some Berry Red Glitter to the flowers, using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen to adhere. I attached the front panel to the background using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder. I splattered on a bit of Watercolor Nuance Red for a bit of an added touch. The sentiment was attached with Foam Squares.
Finally, I added the Honey Gold Glitter Drops to accent the corners and the sentiment!
I hope you enjoy this card! Until next time,
I like how you used the image in the corners Jess. Makes for a fun look! The watercoloring with the Nuance powders looks awesome too. Great card.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Shona! :)
DeleteJess!!! Wow! I love this ;) You always do the most amazing things with Nuance powders. My attempts are nowhere near as pretty as yours. Yes, this card is very elegant. I love it. Hugs to you! - Chris Eder (Puppykisses)
