Supply List:

Spring Bunny 819 (digi version DIGI819)
Purple Rain Microfine Glitter - GM2020
Hyacinth Microfine Glitter - GM2028
Ballerina Microfine Glitter - GM2024
Margarita Microfine Glitter - GM2032
Grassy Green Flocking - FL103
Pink Spirit SparkleNSoft - SS108
Embossing Paste - DR-DGWP (I used non-glossy)
Cherry Blossom Stencil - DR-LG644
Small Nuvo Glue Pen - 202N
Nuvo Embellishment Mousse - Peony Pink - 800N
1/4" Tear-ific Tape - SAT04
Foam Squares - 01613
Onyx Black Versafine Ink - TSVF082

To begin this card, I started by using the Cherry Blossom Stencil and Embossing Paste to create a gorgeous textured background. After it dried, I sponged on some of the Peony Pink Embellishment Mousse to add some extra glimmer.

To make my focal image, I started by editing my Digital Stamp image in Microsoft Word.  I added the main image, added a colored background and imposed a border of the "eggs" along the bottom.  That's the best part of digi stamps - being able to manipulate them! I then printed off the edited Spring Bunny Digital Stamp onto white cardstock. I fussy cut it out and went to work with my glitters!

Using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen, I simply "drew" where I wanted my adhesive to be, sprinkled on the glitter and voila!  I used Purple Rain, Ballerina, Margarita and Hyacinth Microfine Glitters.

Of course I used Pink Spirit SparkleNSoft on the bunny - to make him sparkly and fuzzy!

I used the Grassy Green Flocking along the bottom of the eggs to add some extra "grassy" texture. The Sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine Ink. I used some pink ink to stamp the small egg image around the sentiment.

To assemble this card, I added a strip of ribbon using 1/4" Tear-ific Tape to adhere.  I popped up the focal image using Foam Sqaures. All the layers were attached using the 1/4" Tear-ific Tape.  I used a scalloped edge punch to add a bit of pizzaz to the cardfront edges.

The next stop along the hop is the super talented Anne and you can find her blog here.  Can't wait to share all my creations with you for this month!!

Until next time,

SparkleNSprinkle - Grumpy Goose

Hello friends!

I'm here today with a new post for SparkleNSprinkle!

This time, I'm featuring the Digital Stamp Set - Grumpy Goose!

Supply List:
Jasper Blue Glitter - GM2012

This was actually quite an easy card to create! I started by printing off the colored Digital Image onto glossy white cardstock and trimming to my desired size. I used the Small Glue Pen to add Jasper Blue & Blue Haze Glitter to his hat, Daisy Glitter to his beak, Tiger Orange Glitter to his feet and Evening Glow Glitter to the bells. So much fun!

I used the Glue Pen to draw the "light strand" around Mr. Grumpy Goose, sprinkled on Antiquities Embossing Powder and heat set. Then I went to work creating the lights!  I used the Nuvo Crystal Drops in Apple Green, Ruby Slippers and Dazzling Blue to make the lights (just squeezing a small amount out each time).  I love the effect!  I added a few to "frame" the image as well as on the sentiment and set them aside to dry.

While the Crystal Drops were drying, I created by background. I adhered 1/2" Tear-ific Tape around the edge of my cardbase, removed the adhesive and sprinkled on Fire Engine Red Glitter. I burnished it well with my finger tool.

I took the piece of Gold Mirror Cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot, using a Diamond Patterned Embossing Folder. Once all the Crystal Drops were dry, I adhered all the layers using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape. To finish off the sentiment, I traced the word "naughty" using the Small Glue Pen and sprinkled on Fire Engine Red Glitter.

I sure had fun making this card!  See you next time! :)

SparkleNSprinkle - Winter Blue Jay

Hello Friends!

I'm here today with another gorgeous card for SparkleNSprinkle!

This time, I was working with the card called "Winter Blue Jay" - it's so pretty! I worked with the Digital Version.

Supply List:

So, this was a pretty easy card and came together quickly!

I started by running my background through an embossing folder that was inked up with Versamark Ink.  While still wet, I sprinkled on Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.  It created such a pretty background!  I added a bit of Glimmer Paste around the edges to simulate snow.  I set it aside to dry and started on my image. I printed it off (LOVE DIGIS!) and fussy cut out the image. I used the Nuvo Small Pen to trace the branch and added Pebble Copper Embossing Powder, heat setting.

I also added a border around the sentiment and embossed with Mediterranean Star Embossing Powder.

To finish off, I added a bit of Liquid applique snow! :)  How fun!

The image was popped up using Foam Squares for dimension and layered up the card using 1/2" Tear-ific Tape.

I hope you love this card!  I sure do! Plus, I just LOVE pre-colored digital images!

Until next time,
