Atlantic Hearts #101

Hello again!

We are back with another fun sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  Here is our sketch:

I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I saw it!  Here is what I came up with:

I used some mirror silver cardstock and embossed it with my Big Shot.  The flowers were from Close to My  Heart. Sentiment is from Teeny Timy Wishes by Stampin' Up (and the punch shapes are also from Stampin' Up!).

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #99

Hello again!

It's time for another amazing Sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

Here is this week's sketch:

I am gearing up for a big tradeshow this weekend (Kid's Expo) and making TONS of cards.  I needed to make some wedding themed cards and this is what I came up with:

I used a resist patterned paper from Stampin' Up! called "Irristisably Yours" and brayered CTMH Glacier Ink over it.  The base of the card is Glacier Paper and I layered with Slate paper.  From my stash I used some embellishments and a wood veneer sentiment.  I think I need to find more cabochons!  I am almost completely out - eek! hehehe - oh the problems of a crafter ;)

A little sparkle...

Hello!

I just wanted to share with you a card that I was inspired to make after watching this month's Technique Club video from Sparkle N Sprinkle!  DemoDonna showed us how to create a starburst pattern with Tear-ific Tape & Glitter!  

So I just had to try it!  I grabbed some of my glitters I had on hand and went to work.

I also embossed the sentiment with SparkleNSprinkle embossing powder in Arctic.

The paper is from Close to My Heart in (Glacier and Seaside).  The stamp and seam binding are also from Close to My Heart. I accented the card with wooden dots from my stash.

I cannot wait to get my technique kit this month :) Then I will have more cards to share with you using this fun technique.
